 Tanzania RASTA Kids Appeal FOR EDUCATION.
We are a group of RUF Rasta based in Tanzania . We as
the community members have come to realize that we need
our own schools run by Rasta.

 The reason for this is we are realizing
a great change in our children’s behavior and these changes
do not favor a Rasta life, and also in reflection on our own lives
we need to have our children educated by us at the same time
for them not to fall behind with the ever changing society, we
need them to embrace this life fully, well equipped and without
them losing their own identity in the ever changing world.

 To
make situations even more challenging the teachers are not well
informed about Rasta life. We need to keep our children safe and
balanced and we can’t blame them because there are many other
children in the school.

 
So we decided to get together as the Rasta and work
towards our own day care centre and after school care centre, the
challenges we face here is that we have limited resources hence
we are experiencing discomfort working towards our vision and
not able to produce the desired effect of educating our children.

Having learnt of the learnership and the programs on offer we
have approached the Education officer, empower us
with knowledge to run a proper, well kept, well organized school
for the sake of the children of RASTA community, parents have patience and they want to move their children to thenschool.

Rasta realize we are slowly creating another ignorant generation, and
we as Rasta refuse to sit back and watch this happen.

 So
these RUF organization members have agreed to put together for a basic
child care program where we will be workshopped to write a test
and receive certificates to show that we are qualified teachers.

 We
want to do this as professionally as possible so as to avoid unnecessary
conflicts with the law.
This school is not only to benefit our Rasta community
it is for the whole community because Rasta has a message of
unity for everyone and we can influence our bigger community
for a positive change, of self love, self respect and self sufficiency,
with young children equipped with skills at a young age to help
older children with their homework and create for them an after
school program so they don’t idol with this we are hoping to
decrease the amount of teenage pregnancy and boys to stay away
from drugs and unhealthy friendships created out of boredom
and lack of activities within our communities.

Currently we are registered as a non profit organization
with Department of Community Developmentwe have found
temporal grounds that we can use till we get
permanent land and we are trying to find means to get building
materials, we are in communication with the Rasta Community.

. We are currently working towards an event as our fundraiser for January 2017 and we have a raffle
sheet which that day will be a lucky draw tickets are between 20,000/-
and 100,000/-  winner wins dinner for 2 at the RUF CENTER Restaurant.

 In honesty we can’t do it alone.

Baraza la Biashara la Rastafari

Rastafari United Front (RUF) kiutendaji ipo kwa asilimia 80 kiuchumi zaidi, asilimia 10 Kiutetezi  na asilimia 10 kijamii hivyo itawajibika zaidi kuwa na sera madhubuti za kiuchumi mojawapo ni ile ya Baraza.la Biashara la Rastafari (RBF).    

Baraza la Biashara la Rastafari (RBF) ambalo limesajiliwa kama Bantu United Front (BUF) na BRELA na kupewa nambari ni utekelezaji wa RUF wa mpango wa Umoja wa Afrika kufikia mwaka 2063 kuinua kipato cha ndani cha mwananchi wa kawaida.

Lengo la RBF ni kuinua Jumuiya ya Rastafari kiuchumi na kubadili mtizamo wake na waweze kuendesha na kumiliki uchumi wake yenyewe ulioimarika na endelevu. RBF itawafanya Rastafari wawe na mwamko na kufuata kanuni bora za kifedha na kuwa na shule, vyuo, hospitali, na ardhi  yetu wenyewe kwa ajili ya makazi na kilimo na kuleta ushiriki mkubwa zaidi wa Rastafari katika maendeleo ya Taifa kiuchumi.

RUF katika kazi yake ya kuunganisha Rastafari  wote ina sera ya uchumi imara na endelevu kuanzia ngazi ya wilaya, mikoa, kitaifa na kibara 

Kazi hii ya kuunganisha imerahisishwa na Umoja wa  Afrika (AU) kwani katika mkataba wake wa Umoja na Utamaduni umechagua kutumia lugha ya Kiswahili kama lugha rasmi ya mawasiliano Barani Afrika.

Baraza la Biashara la Rastafari (RBF) litaweka mazingira ya kuingia katika uchumi wa Bara bara la Afrika kwa kuzalisha bidhaa zinazotokana na malighafi zetu na kuziwekea thamani na ubora utakaoshindana katika soko.

RBF inatoa fursa na mazingira ya ubunifu zaidi, kujiamini na maarifa ya kiuchumi kwa kutoa elimu ya ujasiriamali ili azalishe bidhaa zenye ubora na ushindani zaidi katika soko.

Sanaa kama muziki, sanaa za mikono, sarakasi, michezo, vichekesho, uchoraji, uchongaji na n.k. ni kazi na inahitaji itumike kikamilifu zaidi kama sehemu ya kuinua uchumi.

RBF itaweka mazingiza ya kutoa elimu ya ujasiriamali ili kuzalisha bidhaa zenye ubora. Ili tuwe na uchumi imara na endelevu ikishirikiana na mabaraza nchi jirani ya RBF ya katika kubadilishana uzoefu, utaalamu na bidhaa zinazozalishwa katika nchi husika. 

RBF itakuwa na ushirikiano na serikali ili kuweka mazingira mazuri ya kulinda haki miliki za wasanii, usafirishaji bidhaa nje na ndani, udhibiti wa bidhaa zisizo na viwango na ubora kuingia katika soko na unafuu wa malipo ya ushuru n.k. RBF itahamasisha Jumuiya za Rastafari kuwa na ushirika wa makampuni kama wanamuziki, wakulima, watayarishaji wa filamu na muziki, vyombo vya habari na Televisheni, usafirishaji, utalii, ukandarasi, ufundi mekanika, utunzaji wa mazingira, uvuvi na ufugaji n.k.

Hivyo mfumo wa utendaji kazi RBF utafanya kazi ya kutengeneza mtandao kama utando wa buibui kwa  kwenda nchi zote Barani Afrika na kuweka msingi mmoja wa RBF Afrika. 

Rastafari, Bobo or Dread, What's the difference? Lots of confusion in different threads on Rastafari, the percentage of the islands population that is Rastafari and the different levels of practice of the religion as well as the misconceptions such as they all do drugs. Also most people associate Dreadlocks with Rastafari and many locals will refer to someone with Dreadlocks as "Rasta" even though that individual is not a Rastafarian.
